For each job ISRO will publish the qualification and the minimum qualification for getting into ISRO is 10th std to BE/B.Tech or equivalent degree in electronics, mechanical and computer science is the qualification for scientists or engineers. The applicant should pass a written test and an interview for entering into the service. ISRO conducts their examination in first of every year and an interview of shortlisted candidates followed by the examination.
Recruitment Types in ISRO
ISRO go for two type recruitment, all India level and local level.
1.All India Level – In all India level candidates are invited for selection and are recruited to any one of the ISRO stations. This type of recruitment is done for categories such as scientists and engineers.
2.Local Level -The local level is invited from any one of the center and are applicable to only that center. Posts such as translators are recruited in this way. However the recruitment process is done over ISRO’s website.
