IBPS CWE Clerical
The exam of IBPS CWE Clerical, which is currently being held for recruitment to nationalized banks in India for clerical level jobs, is the test of the speed in the examination. This examination is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) as a process for selection of personnel for Clerical cadre posts in Public Sector Banks.
Eligibility for the appearing in the IBPS CWE Clerical
A candidate should be one of the following:
An Indian Citizen
A subject of Nepal or Bhutan
A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1962 and with the intention to settle Permanent in India
A person of Indian origin who has migrated from other countries with the intention of permanently settling in India provided that a candidate belonging to those categories shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Indian government.
2. Educational Qualification
The candidates must possess degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
3. Computer literacy
A candidate must possess operating and working knowledge of computer systems and must possess a certificate in the form of Diploma or Degree in computer operations or Language or should have studied Computer or Information Technology as one of the subjects.
A candidate possessing proficiency in the official language of the concerned state or Union Territory, where vacancies are available, will be preferred.
Scheme of Examination
The scheme of the examination includes the following sections:
1. Reasoning featuring 40 questions having 40 marks
2. English Language featuring 40 questions having 40 marks
3. Numerical Ability featuring 40 questions having 40 marks
4. General Awareness with special reference to Banking Industry featuring 40 questions having 40 marks
5. Computer Knowledge featuring 40 questions having 40 marks
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer and the most important thing is that the Candidates will have to pass in each section separately at least and afterwards should also cross the total minimum passing marks.
IBPS Clerk Selection Process is entirely based on Online Objective type Test and Personal Interview.
During the Interviews, the candidates who qualified in online test will be called for interview

Questions related to Data Interpretation can also feature in the examination
General English: In this section, questions will be asked from:
Fill in the Blanks
Sentence Rearrangement etc.
General Awareness: In this section, questions related to the General Awareness will be asked and the questions covering Current Affairs from all areas related to National, International, Business, Awards, Sports, etc. will be featuring. It must also be remembered that almost 70% questions can be asked from Current Affairs.
Computer Knowledge: In this section questions will be asked from all the simple fields of the Computers. Basic questions will be asked in this section.
Declaration of Result
The result of the IBPS CWE Clerical will be declared just after the conclusion of the exam. The result will be declared after a month time and after the result declaration, the list for the prospects candidates to attend the interview will be released. The single interview is being conducted at once for all the candidates and later on the joining list is being released as accordingly.
